OMV and REPSOL to study potential of hydrocarbon reserves on Georgian shelf in the Black Sea

The Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze, vice president of the Austrian oil and gas company OMV, Walter Hamilton and director of the Spanish oil and gas company REPSOL’s Department for Europe and Central East, Michele Erquiaga Agirov have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The signing took place during the visit of the head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry to Georgia.

The purpose of the memorandum is evaluation and study of potential of hydrocarbon reserves on the Black Sea shelf of Georgia.
