The Khanty-Mansi autonomous area will train the domestic oil extraction technologies

The session of ‘The West Siberian hard-to extract oil reserves – the new economic horizons of Russia’ has been held in the city of Khantimansiysk. It was headed by the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology, S. Donskoy with the participation of the plenipotentiary presidential representative in the Ural federal area, the Governors of the Tyumen region, the Khanty-Mansi and the Yamal autonomous areas and the chiefs of the largest subsoil user companies. The main point of discussion was hydrocarbons production in the conditions of the sanctions introduced by the USA and the EU and substitution of the imported technologies and equipment with domestic.

The new domestic oil extraction technologies will be tested and upgraded in Yugra at the scientific field of Bazhenovsky. The agreement on its construction was closed by the Governor of Yugra N. Komarova and the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology S. Donskoy.
