The EU insists on start of oil and natural gas export to Europe by the USA

The European Union insists on the start of oil and natural gas export to Europe by the United States. This was reported by the European Commissioner for Trade, Karel De Gucht in Washington on September, 9th.

He confirmed that the Brussels’ stand is caused, including, by tensions between the West and Russia, which is the major supplier of energy sources to Europe. At the same time, the EU insist on the speedy settlement of the question of supply. "I can’t imagine that the TTIP (Transatlantic trade and investment partnership) was ever prepared without such provisions," - the ITAR-TASS cites the European Commissioner.
