Draft of production sharing agreement of the Ukraine with Chevron to be repeatedly considered on September, 23

On September 23rd, the Ivano-Frankovsk regional council will repeatedly consider the draft of production sharing agreement with the American petrochemical company Chevron on the production of shale gas at the Olessakaya area in the west of the country, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Oleg Proskuryakov reported.
According to the Minister, the signing of the production sharing agreement between the Government and Chevron will take place in the current year. Proskuryakov said that the company’s minimal investments into the geological exploration would make up roughly $300 million.
