Operational wells are being constructed at the largest gas deposit of Turkmenistan

​The development of a large gas deposit Galkynysh goes on. Its capacities that guarantee the reliability of a long-term gas pumping to China presuppose an opportunity to process 30 bln cubic m of hydrocarbons raw materials a year.

At the preparation for launch of the processing capacities in the central part of the oil and gas site over 20 productive wells were drilled. Last year Turkmengas completed the construction of 3 operational wells with the depth of over 4 thousand 500 m with the total output of over 6.5 mln cubic m of gas a day. Another 3 wells were put into operation by Turkmengeologiya. This year it is planned to drill another 4 deep wells with a high gas output.
