OPEC has raised the forecast of the growth of demand for oil in the world

​OPEC has raised the forecast of the growth of demand for oil by 90 thousand barrels a day in 2015 against the July assessment.

Now OPEC expects the world demand for oil in 2015 to be at the level of 92.7 mln barrels a day, by 1.38 mln barrels a day more than in 2014.

The forecast for 2016 was raised by 100 thousand barrels and now the world demand for oil in 2016 will turn out to be more than in 2015 by 1.34 mln barrels a day and will make up about 94.04 mln barrels a day.

OPEC has raised the forecast of oil extraction growth in the countries not-members of the organization in 2015 by 90 thousand barrels a day against the July assessment.  Now the experts expect the growth of this rate in 2015 by 0.96 mln barrels a day to 57.46 mln barrels a day. The forecast by this rate for 2016 was raised by 40 thousand barrels a day and now forecast the growth of oil extraction by the countries-not members by 0.27 thousand barrels a day to 57.73 barrels a day.
