Russia has set its conditions on the growth of oil supplies to Belarus

The negotiations on the oil supply to Belarus go on with no result as yet, A. Novak said.

If Belarus executes its obligations by the contract of gas supply, the volume of oil supply may increase, A. Novak, said.

Russia will redirect free oil volumes for export to the third countries instead of Belarus, in Q3 the volume will make up 2 mln tons, in general 18 mln tons a year.

This is connected with the non-payment for gas and undersupply of oil products from the Belarus plants. Russia is seriously short of budget revenue as the schedule of oil products supply is not executed.

Novak said by Q4 the situation might change.

The head of “Psikheya”, S. Sapegin, said that the reduction of oil supply by 40% by Russia to Belarus, which is the largest oil products supplier to the Ukraine, is an alert to the Ukraine.
