Armenia not to be shipped Russian gas due to a repair of a gas pipeline in Georgia

​The shipment of the Russian gas to Armenia is terminated for a month due to the repair of the gas pipeline in Georgia, “Gazprom Armenia” (Gazprom’s affiliate) announced today

The gas transportation company of Georgia officially notified “Gazprom Armenia” of a temporary shutdown of gas supply to  Armenia from July 10th until August 10th, is reported.

The reason is the recovery of damaged parts, replacement of linear cranes at the route gas pipeline “Kazakh-Saguramo” in Georgia, connection of the constructed new site.

The uninterrupted gas supply to Armenia will be held on the account of the reserves of the Abovyansky station of underground gas storage, the company said.
