Russia decreases oil exports

In June, Russia set 25-year record of oil production – 10.53 million barrels per day. But companies didn’t begin to export more of raw materials. On the contrary, in June deliveries to the non-CIS states fell to 3.9 million barrels per day (16 million tons per month), the agency Argus reported yesterday. The supply of oil to Russian plants grew to 5.09 million barrels per day (21.2 million tons). Representatives of Transneft and the Ministry of Energy confirmed these figures. According to the Ministry, in the first six months the oil export to the non-CIS states decreased by 2.04% to 115.4 million tons. But the supply of raw materials to Russian oil-processing plants increased by 2.42% to 136.9 million tons. Last year, according to the Ministry of Energy, refineries received 266 million tons of extracted 518 million tons of oil, only 239 million tons were exported.
