CNPC’s entering the project of Kashagan won’t affect the project of KCTS (Kazakhstan Caspian Transportation System), Munaigaz.kz reports.
As told by the source, the capacity of the pipeline to China won’t exceed 20 million tons of oil per year. At the same time, when Kashagan reaches its peak extraction, its production will amount to 51 million tons of oil per year.
