"Lukoil" decides to postpone gas projects in the Caspian Sea.

The company will focus on oil fields.

"Lukoil" will postpone the development of gas fields in the Caspian Sea, they become unprofitable, the company's vice president Leonid Fedun informs. The representative of "Lukoil" does not comment. A person close to "Lukoil" states the company will postpone the development of Hvalynskiy deposit ("Lukoil" has 50% of reserves - 332 billion cubic meters of gas and 18 million tons of condensate), deposit named after Kuvykin (160 billion cubic meters of gas and 107 million barrels of condensate) and "170 km" deposit.
