Lithuania fines Gazprom $50 mln for stifling competition

The Antimonopoly regulatory authority has fined Gazprom $48.4 million for stifling competition on the gas market of the country, Reuters reports.
It is said in a statement that Gazprom got in the way of Lietuvos Energija to buy gas in Western Europe at lower prices.
