ChTPZ dispatches pipes for the first pipes for welding in Power of Siberia gas pipeline

Chelyabinsk pipe rolling plant has dispatched four pipes of 1420 mm diameter, with a wall thickness of 21.7 mm, with external and internal anti-corrosion coating, made of MMK’s sheet steel of K60 grade for the welding of "golden" joint of the Gazprom’s gas pipeline project,the "Power of Siberia".

The chairman of the ChTPZ’s Board of Directors Alexander Fedorov said: "We are proud that our company was honoured with being asked to deliver pipe products for the start of cthe onstruction of such a large and significant project for the Russian economy as the "Power of Siberia". Since the days of the USSR ,theChelyabinsk pipe manufacturers traditionally participate in every pipeline project that are significant for the country.

ChTPZ’s LDP meet the highest standards and requirements of customers, they can be used for the construction of main gas pipelines, which cross areas of active tectonic faults, that is confirmed by a positive certification of Gazprom VNIIGAZ; such pipes will be needed during the construction of the "Power of Siberia" gas pipeline".
