In March, the Caspian pipeline consortium shipped a record volume of oil at Marine terminal. The shipment made up 3.293 million tons of oil that became the maximum monthly rate since start of the pipeline system's operation.
On the whole, over 349 million tons of oil were shipped since the start of the pipeline system operation. According to the CPC’s report, this achievement became possible due to gradual launch of additional facilities within works on extension of the oil pipeline system’s throughput capacity. In February of this year, a new tanker loading unit was launched at the Marine terminal in addition to the two existing ones.
