In 2013 the Russian companies shipped about 776 thousand tons of pipes to the construction sites of "Gazprom", which is 14 % lower than in 2012 (900 thousand tons), according to the Pipe Manufacturers Association.
In December, Ivan Shabalov, the Chairman of the Coordination Council, reported to "Prime" that according to the Association estimates in 2014 "Gazprom" can purchase large diameter pipes in the amount of 1.2-1.3 million tons.
