In January-March of 2013, the Ukraine decreased oil import by railway by 18.1% (23.3 thousand tons) as compared to the same period of 2012 to 105.72 thousand tons, a source in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry reported to the OilNews.
The main reason of the decrease of the oil import by railway became the stoppage of the Lisichansk refinery (LINIK, the Lugansk region) in March of the last year – it received 32.75 thousand tons of oil from Kazakhstan by railway in last March.
