Gazpromneft and Shell to plan to produce 5-6 million tons of shale oil per year in Yugra

Gazpromneft and Royal Dutch Shell plan to annually produce 5-6 million tons of shale oil in the Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district, Gazpromneft’s General Director, Alexander Dukov reported.
On Monday, Gazpromneft and Royal Dutch Shell signed a memorandum to confirm the signing of general agreement on partnership in the sector of shale oil exploration and production in the Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district, the RIA Novosti reports.
