The first rails plant in Kazakhstan to be launched before 2014

The first works on an output of railroad rails and mill products will be built in Aktobe under the auspices of “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”, the national railroad company, before 2014.

A rolling mill of 430 thousand tons of production capacity will produce about 200 thousand tons of wear-resisting rails of up to 120 meters length and 230 thousand tons of structural steel a year.
