Rimera to supply valves at EUR 3.8 mln for the gas pipeline

In May and July this year MSA, the Czech member of Rimera group, will supply pipe fittings to CNPC’s subsidiary CPECC (China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation).

Under the contract MSA will deliver 64 ball valves in nominal sizes 2" – 8", class 150-900 in total value of over 630 thousand EUR to CPECC. Valves will be equipped with pneumatic actuators, manufactured by MSA’s partner companies. Valves are designed for compressor stations construction CCS2, CCS4, CCS6 and CCS8 of the natural gas pipeline, connecting Turkmenistan and China, of 1900 km length (exclusive of the length of the Chinese sector of the gas transport system).

“MSA has cooperated with Chinese CPECC for 10 years. The construction of a major gas pipeline, connecting Asia and East gave us a fresh impetus. The total value of contracts of MSA for this project is approaching 3.8 million EUR,” the chairman of the Board of Management of MSA, V.Kononov comments.
