Construction site for Baltic LNG plant will be finally set by July 2014

The construction of the site for the Baltic LNG plant of Gazprom will be finally set by July 2014. They discuss 3 sites; 2 of them are located in the Vyborg district, and 1 is located in the Kingisepp district in the Leningrad region. In September 2013, the Deputy Chairman of Gazprom Management Board V. Golubev told that the port territory of Ust-Luga is the optimal site for construction of Baltic LNG plant by Gazprom. The annual capacity of the plant can be up to 5 billion cubic m (10 million tons). Gazprom is going to use LNG also for fueling of ships with LNG.
