In 2013, Lukoil Overseas increased investment into Uzbekistan by 38% to $660 million. The company realizes 3 projects in the state, Kandym – Khauzak – Shady, South-Western Gissar and Aral. The cumulative gas production of the company there is 22 billion cubic m. Before 2020, Lukoil is going to produce there 18 billion cubic m of gas annually. All in all, last year was ‘investment’ for the company; capital investment nearly doubled in comparison to 2012.
