In 2013, Severstal increases financing of environment protection measures at Cherepovets metal works to 2.5 billion rubles, by more than two times more than last year, when it was 1.16 billion rubles. The CEO of the division Severstal Russian Steel A. Grubman says that the year of ecology announced in Russia coincides to the active stage of realization of their large investment projects that will give an opportunity to accomplish in full volume the demands of the environmental legislation by 2016. Air protection measures will take 2 billion rubles of the volume.
