In January, the Ukraine reduced income from export of ferrous metals by a third

In January of this year, Ukrainian metallurgical plants reduced revenue from exports of ferrous metals by 34.3% as compared with January 2014 to $748.7 million, while their share in the country's exports is 25.1%, the state fiscal service reports.

According to the report, exports of metal products decreased by 25.3% to $87.6 million and make up 2.9% of the total exports of the country.

At the same time, imports of ferrous metals in monetary terms decreased 2.5 times as compared to January 2014 to $46.2 million, metal products - 2.2 times, to $29.8 million.
