In 2013 Russia increased total production of gold by 12.6%

According to preliminary information, by results of 2013, Russian enterprises outputted 254.241 tons of gold, mined or produced due to associated production of nonferrous metals, including processing of scrap metals and waste, as well as gold concentrates. This is by 12.57% more than in the previous year, chairman of the Russian Gold Producers' Union Sergei Kashuba reported during the Russian & CIS Precious Metals Summit 2014.
