Gazprom Neft has held a 15-stage layer hydrofracturing at South-Priobsky deposit

Gazprom Neft-Khantos has put into operation a horizontal well at which a 15-stage layer hydrofracturing was held for the first time.

Gazprom Neft said that it was possible to hold the 15-stage layer hydrofracturing due to the application of non-spherical technology of loading and stimulation.

The multi-stage layer hydrofracturing at a well of the South-Priobsky deposit was held in the framework of works with scavenger oil reserves.

At the well depth of 4.2 km, the length of the horizontal site was 760 m.

A particular thing of the horizontal site is that it allows to hold works on the intensification of the flow during the entire period of the well’s operation and eliminates the restrictions by the number of held layer hydrofracturing operations.
