Equipment for production of Euro-5 diesel fuel launched at Antipinsky refinery

The Antipinsky refinery has started a new period of development of the enterprise. It launched a  hydrotreating unit, which will produce diesel fuel of the highest Euro-5 standard. Currently, the depth of the hydrocarbons processing is 52%. Next year, this figure is planned to be increased to 97% and another production will be launched.

This launch, though it is symbolic, opens a major new stage in the development of the Antipinsky refinery. The plant started producing diesel fuel of the international standard Euro-5 in industrial scale - 3 million tons per year. For a while. Later, the output will be increased by 1 million tons of fuel.

"From 2016, we will have new requirements for the Euro-5 standard, so we have to be ready for this - to fulfill the requirements to improve the environmental quality of our fuel, and other technical nuances," - said the chief engineer of the Antipinsky refinery Sergei Murzin.
