The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation to discuss the amendments to the legislation on the new accounting system of the oil and gas.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation at a meeting on Thursday will discuss the amendments to the Tax Code and the Law on Customs Tariffs because of the introduction of a new classification of resources and reserves of oil and combustible gases, the press service of the government stated.

The classification establishes the uniform accounting principles for Russia's oil and gas used in the calculation of the tax on the extraction of mineral resources and the rates of export customs duties on crude oil with special physical and chemical characteristics.
