Karabashmed will get a Russian copper casting complex

Karabashmed of Russian Copper company has closed the contract with a Russian metallurgic equipment producer for supplying of a casting complex for crude copper. The new complex will appear in the metallurgic shop of the enterprise in H2 2015.

Karabashmed is an enterprise for crude copper production of mineral materials and secondary concentrated waste of the smelting shop integrated to the production chain of the Russian Copper company. The construction of the new copper casting complex is connected with upgrading of the chemical and metallurgic shop of the enterprise and its furnace enlargement instead of outdated mine furnaces. In 2013, they launched the rotor mixer furnace for improving of the conditions for division of liquid alloys of matte and slag.
