Moscow oil refinery plant might be shut down for 90 days

​Rosprirodnadzor has again stated of violations in the operation of the Moscow oil refinery plant of Gazprom Neft.

The agency has found out that the emissions polluting substances of the Moscow oil refinery plant are held with violation of the conditions of a special permission and the emissions of hydrogen sulphur from the boiler house and boilers of the ELOU ABT-6 unit are held without any special permission at all.

Rosprirodnadzor looks for an opportunity to attract the Moscow oil refinery plant to administrative liability which might be in the form of a fine of 180-250 thousand roubles or the shutdown of the production for 90 days.

In April 2015 the system of control of polluting substances was installed at the Moscow oil refinery plant. It allows to have the data on emissions and register the information in case of unsanctioned emissions.
