Alrosa expects to receive state support in diamond mining at Verkhne-Munskoye deposit

Alrosa expects to receive state aid in the amount of up to 7 billion rubles in the construction of a road to start the development of the Verkhne-Munskoye diamond deposit in Yakutia. This was announced by the first vice president of Alrosa Ilya Ryaschin at the WEF 2015.
The Verkhne-Munskoye deposit is located 180 km from existing facilities of Udachninsk GOK. The deposit development project envisages the transportation of ore by a year-round road.
