In January – August, ferroalloy plants increased exports by 1.5 times because of beneficial power

While the Ukrainian industry stagnates the ferroalloy plants increase production and exports. In January – August, ferroalloy plants increased exports by 1.5 times and export revenue increased by one third. The ferroalloy plants earned $800 million at the external sales at the expense of beneficial electric power granted by the state.

In January – August, the ferroalloy plants increased exports by over 47% to 640,200 tons, Interfax Ukraine reports. The Ministry of Revenues and Duties reports that exports revenue increased by 37% to $800 million.
