Oil production is up on the western part of Turkmenistan

Oil and gas production department “Goturdepeneft” produced more than 1.7 million tons of oil in H1, 2015. It is half of the raw materials, produced by state-run concern “Turkmenneft”.
Turkmenneft has expanded geography of prospecting and drilling operations, increased oil and gas production. There has been commissioned 42 wells this year, 34 of which are exploration wells and 8 are exploitation wells, according to the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources.
