Gazprom’s affiliates signed an agreement for planning and construction of a floating LNG-terminal

Gazprom Marketing & Trading /GM&T/ and “Gazprom fleet”, both affiliates of Gazprom, have signed an agreement for planning and construction of a floating terminal on the storage and regasification of gas, GM&T reports.
The floating storage platform will be constructed at the Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries and then delivered by November 2017 to the Kaliningrad region. The storage platform will provide the supply of the Russian gas to the region which is shipped now by transit via the Baltic countries.
