Oil production in Komi grows by 5% to 7.3 million tons

In January-June, the volume of oil and gas condensate production in the Komi increased to 7.3 million tons, which is by 5% more than in the same period of the previous year, the republic’s Ministry of Development of Industry and Transport reported.
"The growth in the oil production is mainly due to the development of new deposits of large enterprises, mainly by Lukoil-Komi, as well as to work on enhancing oil recovery," - said the head of the regional Ministry Andrei Samodelkin.
