Centre of hi-tech rubber-metal structures to be opened in Omsk

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Ministry of Industry to work out a proposal of the regional head Viktor Nazarov on the formation of a state research and production center of high-tech rubber-metal structures on the basis of the Omsk enterprise Progress.
On July 7, the head of the Omsk region Viktor Nazarov visited the production site of Progress, where he took part in the opening of a new testing station of the enterprise, visited the building of rubber-cord shells, lab for test of soundproofing coatings, got acquainted with the new line of products, and also discussed the new production plans of the plant with the staff.
