Ministry of Energy offers to begin process of added income tax introduction on basis of pilot projects in 2015

In 2015, the Ministry of Energy has offered to begin process of added income tax introduction on the basis of experimental pilot projects to stimulate the development of the oil and gas industry. Today, during the meeting of the Government, head of the Ministry of Energy, Alexander Novak proposed to consider the parameters of the added income tax introduction at the autumn session of the State Duma.

As the Russian Minister of Natural Resources Sergei Donsoy noted, any sites that have possibilities of working-off of the added income tax administration system may be used as pilot ones.

Alexander Novak noted that the tax base would decrease at the first stage, and might not to recover in the future. "We are cautious about tax innovations in the oil industry," – the Finance Minister ,Anton Siluanov gave to understand.
