Abramovich’s son completes his first purchase of a field in Western Siberia

Zoltav Resources Inc., which is controlled by the eldest son of billionaire Roman Abramovich – Arkady, has completed its first acquisition of an asset – the company CenGeo Holdings Limited, which owns the Kolgotor field in the Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district, Zoltav reports.
The possible reserves of this Western Siberian oil field make up 73.531 million barrels. Zoltav received the first tranche in the amount of $13 million from ARA Capital, which belongs to 19-year old Arkady for financing start of works at the Kolgotor field. The license for the field was granted on February 21, 2013 and is valid until February 15, 2033.
