The capacities of RusVinyl can be expanded up to 500 thousand tons of PVC per year - the governor of the Nizhniy Novgorod Region.

The capacities of RusVinyl, a joint venture of Sibur and SolVin, could be extended up to 500 thousand tons of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) per year from the current 330 thousand per year, the governor of the Nizhniy Novgorod Region Valeriy Shantsev told TASS.

In an interview he stated that Nizhniy Novgorod region allocates nearly 5 billion roubles per year to support import substitution. The main areas of work in the region under the program are the development of the production of machinery and equipment, chemicals and food.
