Gazprom hasn’t discussed the termination of transit via the Ukraine with EU

Gazprom said it hadn’t discussed with Europe the transfer of the gas acceptance points in the case of transit termination via the Ukraine and the redirection of these volumes via Turkish Stream to the Southern Europe, deputy head of Gazprom, A. Medvedev, said.

“The practice of transferring the gas delivery points is absolutely normal and was applied by us in a number of cases when we transferred the points of delivery to our consumers. There is nothing crucial in the termination of the contract with the Ukraine”, Mr. Medvedev said answering the question how Europe will receive the Russian gas after 2019 when Gazprom plans not to extend the contract for gas transit via the Ukraine.
