In Q1, Sibur’s net profit grew 3.6 times to 56.8 billion rubles

In the first quarter of 2014m the net profit of petrochemical company Sibur under International Financial Reporting Standards increased 3.6 times as compared with the same period in the previous year to 56.8 billion rubles, the company reports.

The proceeds increased by 20.9% and made up 80 billion rubles.

EBITDA grew by 10.1% to 22.57 billion rubles.

At the same time, in January-March of this year the EBITDA margin fell 28.2% against 31% in 2013, the ITAR-TASS reported.
