In May 2014, oil production in Russia fell to 8-month low – 10.487 million barrels per day

In May 2014,oil and gas condensate production in Russia decreased a little more to its lowest level in eight months, the Russian Ministry of Energy reports.

In May 2014, the oil and gas condensate production amounted to 44.535 million tons (on the average, 1 436.6 thousand tons / day) against 43.119 million tons (on the average, 1 437.3 thousand tons / day) in April of this year. Thus, the average daily oil production in Russia in May fell by 0.05% to 10 487.2 thousand barrels per day against 10 492.3 thousand barrels per day a month ago.

The May rate became the lowest since September 2013, when the average daily production of oil and gas condensate in Russia was 10.483 million barrels, the Energy Ministry reports.
