Polymir resumes the production of LDPE after fire.

By Friday, May 6, the Polymir plant, part of LLC "Naftan", reopened the shop number 105, which was stopped due to ethylene release on April 27, a source in the company told MRC.

According to customers of the enterprise, today work shop №105 (the second stage of the production of high-density polyethylene (LDPE) was completely restored after forced stop due to a fire on April 27. Resuming operation of the second stage was originally scheduled for the day after the fire, but technical problems delayed production start-up.
