Russia warns the EU of pipeline shut-off in case of reverse supply to Ukraine

Russia can stop gas deliveries to the EU countries if they organize reverse supply from Slovakia and Hungary to Ukraine.

The permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the European Union V.Chizhov said, RIA Novosti writes. According to him “it is impossible to pump gas on both directions via the same pipeline. So, if the reverse supply to Ukraine starts either from Slovakia or Hungary, the supply from east to west will be terminated. We will stop supplying gas to the EU.”
