The Polish petroleum company PGNiG SA received no proposals to organize the supply of natural gas to Ukraine in reverse mode, the press service of the Polish company reported to RIA Novosti.
The physical gas reverse from Poland to Ukraine is possible via the pipeline through Hermanovitse. The bandwidth of the pipe in the eastern direction is 1.8 billion cubic meters per year. For a time the pipeline was used to supply gas from the German RWE. In 2014, according to the information system of the Polish gas pipeline operator GAZ-SYSTEM, the pipeline was not used.
