Difficult oil production is impossible without the appliance of fiscal incentives, N.Komarova

The governor of Yugra, N.Komarova took part at the meeting of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in Moscow. They summed up the results of 2013 and announced the main priorities of activity of the department.

N.Komarova in her comment following the results of the meeting has defined basic goals of the autonomous region. One of the priorities is the involvement of difficult-to-recover hydrocarbon resources into development. “The global oil-and-gas industry is in the stage of restructuring. The high-gravity oil is gradually replaced by low-grade oil, while the emphasis is made towards shale production. We can monitor it globally and in our region too. The stable oil production in Western Siberia can be provided at the expense of old deposits and with an approach of the Bazhenov, Tyumen suite and Achimovskoye deposit,” the head of the region said.
