In 2014, CPC is going to start launching of the new oil pumping stations

The Caspian pipeline consortium (CPC) continues the gradual launch of the additional objects within the work for broadening of transporting capacity of the oil pipeline system.The testing of these systems has demonstrated the broadening of transporting capacity by more than 15%, the First Vice CEO of CPC D. Fein says.

The broadening project presupposes upgrading of 5 existing and construction of 10 additional oil pumping stations, including 2 in Kazakhstan and 8 in Russia, the construction of 6 storage reservoirs of 100,000 cubic m each in addition to 4 existing for oil storing near Novorossiysk, and the third single buoy mooring at the Sea terminal, and substitution of the 88 km of the pipeline in Kazakhstan with large diameter pipe.
