The public hearings assessing the impact of the pipeline repair at Kashagan on the environment will be held in Atyrau. The North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) company will assess the risk of pipe replacement.
The public hearings on the replacement of pipelines at the Kashagan project are the main part of the hearing. The project partners agreed on a reconstruction plan following an investigation of the reasons for destroying the integrity of the pipeline. It is planned to start the construction in the spring of 2015, to complete - in H2 2016.
