Lukoil has invested over $3 billion in Uzbekistan over the last 10 years

In 2004-2014, Lukoil invested over $3 billion in Uzbekistan, the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov reported to journalists on the eve of Vladimir Putin's visit to Tashkent.
Lukoil participates in the development of group of gas condensate fields Kandim-Hauzak-Shady-Kungrad. Production sharing agreement of the Kandim-Hauzak-Shady block, providing for natural gas production in the Bukhara-Khiva region in the southwest of Uzbekistan, was signed by Lukoil and Uzbekneftegaz in 2004. In autumn of 2007, the production started at the Hauzak site.
