CNPC to start construction of Chinese section of Power of Siberia in H1 of 2015

CNPC has been given the approval by the Government for he preliminary project of the Chinese section of Power of Siberia. Its construction will begin in the first half of 2015, the company reports.
The completion of the construction and launch of the Chinese section is scheduled for 2018.
Under the project, the gas pipeline will start in Heihe in the Heilongjiang Province in northeastern China. It will be laid through the Jilin Province, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin, Shandong, Jiangsu to Shanghai. The construction will be divided into three parts - northern, middle and southern.
