Uzbekneftegas and CNPC Silk Road Group to create a JV for the development of hydrocarbon deposits

There were negotiations carried out with the representatives of “CNPC Silk Road Group” Ltd.and the national holding company “Uzbekneftegas” regarding new hydrocarbon deposits development. The press-service of the company announced.
An affiliate, established by CNPC, is focused on carrying out a number of prospecting surveys at 5 investment blocks of Uzbekistan on the territory of 3 oil-and-gas districts. An agreement was signed between “Uzbekneftegas” and CNPC in June 2006.
